Productive schedule: intensive daily classes, park workouts, lunch, and games.

What You’ll Learn

Antiquity

Socratic dialogue method — the search for truth and the roots of European democracy and beauty.

Middle Ages

Unravelling Gothic symbols and knightly codes of honour.

Renaissance

Observing how the debate among the titans of thought changes perspective in painting and science.

Postmodernism and Modernity: Deconstructing the Idols

Critical reason has turned in upon itself. The death of former ideals. Deconstruction and genealogy—unveiling the hidden, earthly origins of values posing as sacred. The world is a realm of chaos and force fields, not harmony.

Modern Times and Modernity

The Enlightenment and anthropocentrism. Scientific achievements led to the fact that the Cosmos is no longer ordered a priori — man himself must construct and establish order in a seemingly chaotic world. Free will, rather than blind obedience to natural instincts, becomes the moral foundation.
